Now in their 23rd year, the 2008 CSIRO Medals honour our brightest achievements for the year by awarding the Chairman's Medal and the CSIRO Medals for Lifetime Achievement, Business Excellence and Research Achievement, plus the announcement of this year's winner of the John Philip Award.

Chairman's Medal
The Chairman’s Medal honours the very best in CSIRO research. The CSIRO Chairman's Medal.
Lifetime Achievement
The CSIRO Medal for Lifetime Achievement is awarded to individuals with a record of sustained and meritorious achievement over a prolonged period of CSIRO service. The CSIRO Lifetime Achievement Award.
